RETRO PRESS MURAL
Working any extra hours I could find in the days belonging to the last two months, I would head over to this incredible hidden studio containing crazy letterpress owned by the hardworking company Retro Press. Here I painted a mural basing the illustrations on 'retro' household objects and things relating to RetroPress. Also I made a few parts interactive, for example I hammered in nails to the points of the antlers so you could hang coats/hats/equipment, or the clock face which is real so that tells the time!
Plus a couple of real frames that I painted black to carry on the 3D effect.
Enjoy..

marriage contour
Just drew a 'blind contour' illustration for my friends wedding card who is getting married this weekend! A blind contour is drawing one continuous line whilst only looking at the subject and never at the paper…trusting your hand-eye coordination. Best thing about blind contour's are they are always spontaneous random illustrations, and there is a 50/50 chance they are actually going to turn out alright! #livingontheedge.

SEBASTIAN DENZ!
LOVE.
Managed to catch some of Sebastian Denz's work in an exhibition, inside a huge arthouse incasing multiple live working studios and exhibitions in Mariannenplatz, Berlin.
3D photographs of my mural paintings…now theres an idea!!

BERLIN
There is nothing more important than taking a break for an inspirational boost so I teamed up with Retro Press and headed east to the suburbs or Berlin, to stay in Prenzlauer Allee with two wonderful, creative companions…..Poupette Bulley and Jorund Hannevold
We rented bicycles and cycled all over the city, visiting studios, exhibitions, and markets hunting down materials, prints and new artists, recording each step we took.
So lucky that we found incredible BLU murals…
You may know Blu from his rad stop frame animation MUTO
Of course we couldn't forget our roots…
